Ample provisions and space are available for academic, co-curricular, sports & moral excellence Our academic module is categorized into Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary.

Curriculum and Evaluation:

  • School strictly follows the CCE pattern as directed by the CBSE.
  • Students are evaluated in the ‘Scholastics’ as well as ‘Co-Scholastic’ areas. Scholastic refers to those aspects which are related to intellect or the brain and includes assessment of learners in curricular subjects, assignments, project work, practical and oral work etc.
  • The term’ Co-Scholastic’ refers to those aspects which are related to hand and heart. These include psychomotor skills, physical development, life skills, attitude, values, interests and participation in co-curricular activities. Life skills are the abilities that help the students in improving their personal and social qualities. Some of these qualities include self-esteem, effective communication skills, confidence, compassion, respect and empathy for others and creative thinking.

Evaluation of Scholastic areas: (up to class X)

Each term will have four formative assessments and two summative assessments for evaluation of scholastic areas.

Formative assessment will not only be a pen and paper test, it may also include face to face activities, crossword, role play, listening skill, activity, spell throw, quizzes, conversation, interview, oral testing, visual testing, projects, practical and assignments.

Summative assessment will be in the form of pen-paper test to be conducted by the school at the end of each term. Curriculum and syllabus of this assessment is decided by the board but the evaluation of answer sheets will be done by school teachers themselves.

General Rules

  • All Students are required to complete 75% of attendance to make him/her eligible to take the examination.
  • The board conducts examination in all subjects except General Studies, Work Experience, Physical and Health education, which will be assessed internally by the school.
  • In all subjects examined by the board, a student will be given one paper each carrying 100 marks for 3 hours. However, in subjects requiring practical examination, there will be a theory paper and practical examination as required in the syllabi and courses.

Teaching practice:

We at JKG try to impart knowledge to the students in practical way. Strategies like learning by doing, interest and explanation, active engagement of students in all kind of activities focused on practical learning like role play, quizzes, debates etc. Art integrated activities in all subjects make learning more interesting for students as it foster the creative aspect of the child. Active participation of students through experiential learning make education a lot of fun instead of burden. Child centric experiential learning makes him/her develop the ability of thinking, analyzing and application of knowledge and brings out a holistic development of the personality.

Parent Interaction

Parent Teacher meeting are held at regular intervals to provide parents ad teachers an opportunity to exchange view on the progress of the students

Parent orientation programmes are also organised from time ti time.

Parents can communicate effectively with the teachers and School Management through 1-Guardian facility.
