Curriculum and Evaluation:
School strictly follows the CCE pattern as directed by the CBSE.
Students are evaluated in the ‘Scholastics’ as well as ‘Co-Scholastic’ areas. Scholastic refers to those aspects which are related to intellect or the brain and includes
assessment of learners in curricular subjects, assignments, project work, practical and oral work etc.
The term’ Co-Scholastic’ refers to those aspects which are related to hand and heart. These include psychomotor
skills, physical development, life skills, attitude, values, interests and participation in co-curricular activities.
Life skills are the abilities that help the students in improving their personal and social qualities. Some of these qualities
include self-esteem, effective communication skills, confidence, compassion, respect and empathy for others and creative thinking.
Evaluation of Scholastic areas: (up to class X)
Each term will have four formative assessments and two summative assessments for evaluation of scholastic areas.
Formative assessment will not only be a pen and paper test, it may also include face to face activities, crossword, role play, listening skill, activity, spell throw, quizzes, conversation, interview, oral testing, visual testing, projects, practical and assignments.
Summative assessment will be in the form of pen-paper test to be conducted by the school at the end of each term. Curriculum and syllabus of this assessment is decided by the board but the evaluation of answer sheets will be done by school teachers themselves.
